EVHSG-600-E
Contact welding in any pre-programmable sequences and cycles
The EVHSG-600-E is an electronically mobile contact welder that is able to weld multiple contracts in a variety of positions in one sequence. A servomotor runs the welder transversely to the direction of the tape feed.
All sequences are cam-controlled so a high level of weld quality is guaranteed even at a high stroke rate. In addition control mechanisms provide for the greatest precision.
Advantages of the EVHSG-600-E
- Automated contact welding with up to 300 cycles/min
- Pre-programmable processes and cycles
- Electronic transport/position controls
- Electrode wheels with/without profile, can be used several times
- Free welding environment, no shunts
Special features in the process
The horizontally fed round wires (0.5 to 2.0 mm diameter) are cut in the unit via carbide cutting elements (0.5 to 3 mm length). The contact sections are mechanically guided under the electrode wheel and precisely placed there (-/+ 0.05 mm). Feed and positioning of the sections are controlled electronically.
The electrodes are designed as electrode wheels with 16 or 32 working surfaces, provided with or without profile machining depending on the contact type, and can be used several times. The electrodes are cooled directly.
During welding, the contact section is held only by the electrode - the surrounding area is free. Thus, no undesired shunts are possible. The repositioning path is monitored digitally.
Efficiency in production
Cam-controlled sequences ensure first-class welding quality even with fast work processes. The proven cassette quick-change system for different contact welding wires or contact welding profiles allows you to change over production in no time at all. Alternatively, work sets can be used instead of the exchangeable cassettes. However, setup with the aid of the exchangeable cassettes takes significantly less time.
